Dear Ms. Schneider, on behalf of all singers (a total of 77) of the University Choir Halle “Johann Friedrich Reichardt” (Germany), who participated in the 29th edition of the Competition “Days of International Choir Music 2018 in Verona”, we would like to thank you for the really perfect organization.
Starting with an excellent hotel, providing comprehensive service, a great location and understanding for a large group, up to our very pleasant and friendly local guide Anna, from the wonderful venues at the Palazzo Gran Guardia, the Teatro Filarmonico and of course the Arena, to the numerous encounters with choirs from foreign countries and different cultural areas – a completely successful event.
If an internationally top-class jury then evaluates the choir´s artistic achievement consistently with “Ottimo – excellent” and awards additional special prizes, and at the same time spring enchants the Lake Garda, then all your wishes come true.
We would also like to thank all partners and local choirs, who were involved in preparing and carrying out the Festival. You just feel the love for choral music and the cordiality towards the guest choirs. We will gladly come back one day.

International Choir Festival Montecatini Terme 2017, Tuscany

We would like to thank you very much for organizing our tour to the Tuscany Music Festival in Montecatini Terme this year in 2017, a very special place to observe the local traditions of Italy. This was the second time that MusiCultur Travel GmbH organized our attendance to music festivals as "23 Nisan Primary School Children`s Choir" from Northern Cyprus. Both festivals were very well organized and our choristers had the opportunity to listen and meet with other choirs and musicians from different parts of the world.
It has been a great experience again, thank you very much and we hope to work with you again for another festival...

We sang on the Gondola in Venice, we sang on the Alps mountain, we sang with touching heart in the hundred years old church, we sang forgetfullness in the parade….

Our days in Vienna were simply wonderful and a great success!
On behalf of our municipal church choir Preetz I would like to express our most heartfelt thanks to you. The excellent organization of our participation in the International Advent Singing Festival lead to a great event for us.

You accommodated us at a nice hotel that we liked. The itinerary was ideally prepared and so varied. On the one hand we enjoyed our successful performances in the beautiful and large City Hall of the City of Vienna, at the pretty Christmas Market of the Schönbrunn Palace and during a church service at the imposing St. Leopold Church.
The accompanying program on the other hand also met our expectations: the guided city tour of Vienna, the good cuisine at the impressive Restaurant of the City Hall that we enjoyed together with other attending choirs before the afternoon concerts and the merry visit of a wine tavern / restaurant in Gumpoldskirchen, where we spent a great evening with young Irish singers.  Our local assistant Ms. Roden was very kind and most helpful as well as our local Viennese coach driver.
Last but not least, we spent a very enjoyable closing reception at the City Hall.

All in all: our participation in the Vienna International Advent Singing Festival this year will remain as an unforgettable experience! Best wishes for a wonderful Advent and Christmas season.

Choir Trip to Dresden Women´s Choir, Choral Society Enz, December 2016

We experienced everything as scheduled (city tour, visit of the Striezelmarket, visit in Meißen, choir performance at the Meißen Cathedral, choir performance at the Striezelmarket,
group dinner following the Striezelmarket)
We stayed at a very good hotel, located about 8-10 minutes walking distance away from the city center.
(Can be recommended at any time). Our local tour guide was excellent and presented Dresden to us with his expertise, wit and humor.

In summary, I would like to praise you, dear Ms. Schneider and Ms. Werres for your groundwork.

International Advent Singing Festival in Vienna 2015

Dear Susanne Schneider, I would like to extend my warmest thanks to you and your team for the excellent organization of the International Advent Singing Festival Vienna 2015. We took part in the festival with a group of 75 persons. We already attended the festival in 2009 and were very satisfied with everything back then. This year our expwctations were eceeded once more. In short, everybody was overwhelmed. Apart from the scheduled performances at a senior citizens home, in the Vienna Town Hall and in the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, my singers performed in the Melk Abbey. The joint performance of all choirs at the closing ceremony in the Vienna Town Hall and the outstanding singing together with our choir friends from Italy at the wine tavern in the wine village of Gumpoldskirchen will remain unforgettable. As a tour guide and choir director I can definitely recommend your company to other choirs. I wish you and your team continued good luck and success and we already look forward to the next choir trip with your company.

With kind singer greetings from the beautiful Franconian region.

On behalf of “Vocawäller” I would like to thank you for the kind support and assistance with the trip planning.  The festival was a great experience for our singers and our fellow travelers. Our local guide “Erika” was fantastic! Always present and very cooperative. She was very charming and nice and her guided tours were very informative and most interesting.   RECOMMENDABLE. Of course the most important part is the competition. The organization of the competition was ideal. The atmosphere among the choirs is very positive, this is a sign of great understanding among nations. The itinerary is appealing and fits into the timeframe.

Hi Susanne, here I am back with so many emotions ! Our 10th festival was a magnificent time with a high general quality level.
Sunny weather all day long. Happiness and joy for everyone. 3 concerts per choir with large audiences, especially in Sainte Réparate Cathedral where the choirs were on their top, large applauses and standing ovation. Choir trip to Dresden - MGV Nußloch from 01 October to 04 October 2015

The choir trip to Dresden was wonderful! Terrific hotel (great), outstanding guide (Rainer Müller was brilliant!), very nice and eventful program, yet a lot of free time.
The "Saxon evening" is recommendable. We even had the opportunity
to sing a song in the well-known Church of Our Lady in Dresden as well as at the Königstein Fortress (the "Saxon Bastille").
We will remember the trip for a long time to come and the next time we will gladly book with you again.

World Peace Choral Festival Vienna 2015, International Choir Festival for children´s and youth choirs

We are very happy to have taken part in " The World Peace Choral
Festival in Vienna 21-26 July 2015"
It has been a well planned and wonderful festival. The most important
is that our children "Angels of CYPRUS"  met with other children from
different parts of the world and sang together for a better future!
Creating peace in the world starts with planting the seeds to the little
hearts especially by music which is always said to be the international
language to express our feelings.
Musicultur Travel and especially Ms. Susanne Schneider, you helped us
considering every detail, every meal, every transportation... It was
a well planned festival programme especially giving information about
every detail.
The three hour city tour which was again planned by your agency was
perfect. Our Turkish speaking guide was a surprise! We did not
expect this and he had a very sweet accent that our children liked
listening to for the history and general knowledge about Vienna.
It has been a pleasure meeting with you at the opening ceremony Susanne, and
also I would like to thank you for everything you have planned and
prepared for us. It has been a wonderful experience...

All the best...

International Choirfesitval Alta Pusteria, South Tyrol 2015

The entire Val Pusteria (“Puster Valley”) supports this festival, as many visitors showed at the events. The choir parade is the social highlight of the festival in which all choirs processed through the town of San Candido and were celebrated by the numerous viewers. Every choir was personally welcomed by the festival director and then headed for the fairground in the center. 2500 singers gathered here in the end….74 choirs from 16 nations and from all continents ….The final chord and the joint performance of “Va Pensiero” taken from the opera Nabucco by G. Verdi caused an incredible feeling. This was certainly a unique and unforgettable experience for everyone.
We were highly satisfied with all of the 5 previous choir tours that we booked with you. The conclusion of the choir, “ this was our most enjoyable tour”

International Advent Singing Festival Vienna 2014

I´m so glad we chose this festival. All arrangements were perfect!  We had three performances, all at different sites, with different kinds of audiences; we performed at a senior residence, outdoors at the beautiful Christmas market at the Schönbrunn Castle and finally at the City Hall of Vienna. The weather was a bit cloudy and windy, but even if we didn´t see the sun for four days, we felt sunny in our hearts, thanks to the very warm and “sunny” reception from the organizers and the audiences .
Our special thanks to Susanne Schneider for excellent service and  to our “guides” Anna and Seija. As representatives of the swedish speaking minority in Finland we were especially happy to have a swedish speaking guide at the roundtrip in Vienna. We will never forget our very own assistant, the lovely Anna Huemer, who told us many funny stories, who sang and danced with us, and  finally even conducted our choir in the vestibule of our hotel.
We hope that we will return to Vienna someday, maybe at springtime next time, and we will definitely look forward to the services of MusiCultur again .

International Spring Festival for Choral Music in Antwerp 2014

Dear Mrs. Schneider, I send you my regards back from Cologne after having attended the wonderful choir festival in Antwerp. It offered a good mixture of choirs, everything was very well organizes – to make it short: there is nothing to complain about. We are full of praise and we already look forward to the next choir festival. Apart from that, we met the Shalom Choir at the festival and we plan a joint concert in the future.
By the way: food + drinks = simply great!
Many thanks for the excellent organization!
With best regards

B. Malcher
Choir 61 Cantus Mundi e.V. Köln

After many months of rehearsal it finally happened: more than 50 singers of the Mixed Choir Eschborn travelled to the Rubens City Antwerp from 01 May to 04 May 2014 and attended the International Choir Festival. Everybody agreed: it was a complete success.
Successful performances, touching moments and a lot of fun characterized this year´s choir trip. On the outward journey we made a stopover in the Dutch city of Maastricht and enjoyed the lovely weather here.
In Antwerp our singers checked in to a nice hotel near the beautifully restored train station (one of the most beautiful ones in Europe, if not in the world) and from here we could easily explore the well preserved and impressive Old Town.
The festival management provided the international choirs (for example from Russia and Switzerland) with very competent guides during the stay.
The song program we rehearsed together with our choir director, Mr. Manfred Bender, included works of many European countries and epochs and matched the setting of the international choir festival and the impressive event location: the St. Carolus-Borromeus Church, whose spectacular façade was designed by Peter Paul Rubens.
On our third day of travel we visited the city of Bruges.
The medieval Old Town has been included on the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritage sites in the year 2000. Our singers enjoyed an obligatory boat ride on the canals of the city and also one or more of the Belgian specialties: a waffle, Belgian French Fries or one of the famous Belgian Chocolates.
In the evening the organizers invited all participating choirs to drinks and snacks in a historical hall, where the participation certificates were officially presented.
The “Ode to Joy” was jointly sung, followed by live music and further singing.
The “crowning” finish was doubtlessly our performance at the impressive St. Paul`s Church in Antwerp. This magnificent church with Baroque interior belongs to the most beautiful ones in Europe. Our choir was able to perform here during a morning church service.

Dear Mrs. Schneider, dear Mrs. Werres, full of a harmonious journey with many wonderful impressions, I want to warmly thank you for the organizational support. The Choir Jurij Vodovnik from Zrece took part in the Competition of the Festival in Verona 2014 at the invitation of MusiCultur Travel GmbH in Bonn. Our choir has previously attended two other competitions for Advent and Christmas songs in Prague and in Bratislava, but we were very happy with the complete organization of the Verona Festival and even pleasantly surprised. We were especially proud of the Slovenian flag among all flags of so many countries. Our joint efforts, great intention and our wish to succeed, helped us to win the silver level. The scene of a large number of participants on their way to the “Arena di Verona” is memorable and magnificent, as well as the joint concert of all choirs at the arena. We experienced a fascinating atmosphere and joy here. The organizers made great efforts to accommodate us and other attending choirs in the lovely town of Garda, at the Lake with the same name. We also visited the cities of Venice and Verona with our excellent local guide Katja, who accompanied us throughout the festival. The president of the Veronese Choir Association, Mr. Lino Pasetto, emphasized in his greeting that the Verona Festival is more than just a competition. The festival also gives the   opportunity to create friendship amongst the local and foreign choirs and for cultural exchange, because all choirs are music lovers.   Also our choir  Jurij Vodovnik had the opportunity to meet with the Male Choir “Coro Coste Bianche” in the Province of Verona and to jointly perform a concert.

Just a little note to say thank you once again for all your help with our trip to Vienna.  We arrived home safe and sound this evening after a wonderful time at the festival.  Everyone enjoyed themselves and new friendships were made with the choirs from Finland and Canada.  The hotel was great - the staff were very kind and our rehearsals were accommodated at the times we wanted - and it was a super location with easy access to the centre of the city and for the shopping mall next door.  Many a Euro was spent there!!  Our festival representative, Anna, was lovely and added greatly to our enjoyment and knowledge of Vienna.  It was also good to see Ulli again.
So, we are all very tired but very happy and the memories will stay with us for a long time!
I hope the remaining weekends go well.

All best wishes on behalf of us all,

Our group just returned yesterday from our extended trip after the festival (traveled to Salzburg & Munich before returning home). I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help in planning this wonderful event.
The experience of singing at the various venues, and of enjoying the wonderful sites of Vienna, will be remembered for many years.
Our hotel accommodations were excellent, and the staff at the hotel very helpful and gracious. Our local festival assistant, Edith Lansky, was kind and helpful, and befriended us all. Thank you again for all your help this past year with planning, and arranging the details, answering all my questions, and for your infinite patience.
I wish you a Blessed Christmas, and much Joy in the coming year!

Praga Cantat 2013: VOX CANTABILIS wins gold and is the overall winner of the festival

Praga Cantat 2013 will remain a wonderful memory to us. The many additional rehearsals were rewarded in a special way. The chamber choir VOX CANTABILIS has already participated in numerous international choir competitions and festivals. The organization of such an event is surely very complex and requires an elaborate organizer.  We thank you and your staff sincerely: we have not experienced such a perfectly organized event in a long time. We were warmly welcomed everywhere, a local guide  was always available for us and the staff of the choir competition always provided competent  and  courteous information.  In particular we would like to thank Mrs. Magdalena Havlickova – our local guide in Prague. Mrs. Havlickova took exceedingly good care of us. Her travel guidance through Prague was exciting and entertaining, so waiting for the awards ceremony seemed much shorter. Moreover, she was very flexible and much endeavored to various special requests. Please send our best wishes to Mrs. Havlickova from our region of the Salzburger Land.

Many thanks!

Praga Cantat 2013: Salzburger Vocalensemble QuasiSolo wins Gold in the choir competition

Dear Mrs. Schneider, following is our feedback regarding our trip to Prague.
- a great thank you to you and to your company for the terrific assistance and advice; you can count on us again (please do not consider this as a serious threat)
- the event in Prague was very well organized
- in particular we would like to especially thank our local assistant, Mrs Hana Fukova, who showed us Prague in a special way: humorous, charming, witty, interesting facts about the history and modern times. A perfect travelling companion and guide – we can highly recommend her but are reluctant to do so because of self-interest (we would like her to guide us again)

Thanks again

Dear Susanne, thank you very much for everything. Our trip was a huge success. It has exceeded all our expectations.
Our local guide Jasmin was the best: she was always there for us and helped to fix everything just perfect. We are really happy to have had her as our guide. I appreciate if you tell this to Mr Reinhard Steinbauer.I was going to write him a letter of thanks. Also, we are grateful to the mayor who showed great respect to our choir and even made us a gift of buying a drink to all our people over the last lunch in Wolfsberg. I can't even explain, how happy the people were.
Thank you, Susanne, for being here for me and answering all the questions.

Following the official closing ceremony all choirs met for a get-together at a local park and joined together afterwards for a joint group sing in the impressing Arena di Verona.
In the evening the members of the Children and Youth Choir met with the Italian host choir Schola Cantorum S. Pietro where we were warmly welcomed and presented some of our music. The trip was a great success and an unforgettable experience for all the young singers. They visited different cities such as Verona and Sirmione and also spent a day in Venice, where they had to honour to present themselves with a few songs at the famous St. Mark´s Church. The young members spent an exciting time in Italy and were able to gain new experiences and to meet with other choirs.

Praga Cantat 2012: Joyful Voice honored twice in Prague

The Mannheim Gospelchoir “Joyful Voices – The Red Microphone” received a valuably international award. During the 26th edition of the International Choir Competition “Praga Cantat”, which 20 choirs from twelve countries attended, “Joyful Voices” was awarded with the silver level in the cagetories for sacred music and mixed choirs. Choirs were requested to present themselves in both categories with music on a high level from various epochs and sung a cappella.
The awards are all the more remarkable considering that the competitors – especially coming from Eastern Europe – are particularly tough during the competition.
The choir members proudly presented their diplomas to the fans who accompanied the tour.
“For a Gospel Choir like ours it is quite a challenge to take part in a competition for traditional music” stated by the choir director Mr Friedemann Stihler “ and the fact that we are honored twice is a very special and important recognition of the work that we have done so far.  We are very proud of that.

Choir trip of the Mixed Choir from the Choir Association Kleefeld to the International Mountain Song Festival in Wolfsberg-Carinthia, Austria in September 2012

The concert tour was a great success in terms of music and organization. Our presentations during the two choir festival events did not only convince the audience but above all ourselves. The choir director Michael Kuhlmann was full of praise.
We were also very impressed by the Hotel Hecher. Especially the quality of the food justified its 4 star hotel classification. The offered tourism program met the expectations of the singers very well and a special thanks goes to our guide Luise here, who made our stay very enjoyable by her very pleasant and open manner and by being very informative.
Last but not least the weather was fine and brought us a bright blue sky every day with cloudless sunshine and a temperature of 28 degrees.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those responsible, in particular to the singers of the Mixed Choir, who rewarded themselves with a musical success and with a great atmosphere.
There is a great deal to report to our friends at home who unfortunately could not travel with us.

Impressions from the choral trip to Tuscany (Montecatini Terme), July 2012

The absolute highlights of Tuscany were included in this trip. Our choirs “Eintracht” and “Projektchor 007 – with the license to sing” from Bad Langenbrücken in Germany, got the chance to visit the most beautiful destinations in this region. Apart from the fact that we had great weather, everything else worked to perfection: the good organization beforehand, very modern coaches, accommodation, meals and food and of course the outstanding local and personal care and assistance.
The very competent city tour guides understood perfectly well how to let the excursions turn into an unforgettable experience for such a large group.
We felt perfectly looked after around the clock!
The location of Montecatini Terme is not only opportune because of the close distance to the important and interesting destinations such as Florence, Lucca and Pisa, but because the small spa metropolis itself is a wonderful town. Small and romantic lanes with charming and lovely decorated Tuscan shops blend into large shopping streets where no wish remains unfulfilled.
At vocal level the mass at the beautiful church and the friendship concert together with an Italian host choir at one of the many Spa Halls fully met our expectations. The open-air concerts in Pisa, Florence and Lucca were “the cherry on the cake”.
The journey was a great experience for all singers and we can warmly recommend this to others.

Concert trip of the choir MGV Sängerbund Dehrn to Mödling near Vienna, Austria

The concert trip to Mödling/Gumpoldskirchen/Vienna from 26.09. to 30.09.2012 was a complete success. Everything worked perfectly and we were also lucky with the weather.

All the services your company provided  (hotel accommodation, excursion to Vienna, visit of the Heiligenkreuz Monastery and the visit of the  Melk Monastery combined with a ship excursion) were very good and recommendable. Many thanks for this and also for your flexibility.
I will therefore recommend your company to our befriended choirs.

Choir Festival di Verona 2012

Marina Makarova and Jazz- Choir of the Children Philharmonic Society, Ekaterinburg, Russia

We thank the festival organizing committee for the warm welcome and a wonderful friendly atmosphere. We got many beautiful impressions from an interesting beautiful  country, from the Italian audience, from communicating with the members of other choirs. The contest has left only positive emotions, as we have received high evaluation of our performance from all members of the jury. Especially memorable was the thunderous applause to our choir during the final concert of the laureates. The title of the Best Choir is a great honor for us and we are very proud of it. Once again I want to thank all the organizers for this joy. We hope to someday meet again!

We were very satisfied with our hotel and the halfboard. Kind regards also to our Festival guide Anna and to our Italian coach driver Bruno. Their job was beautiful, they are very kind and nice people, we miss them now.
So, Susanne, thank you also very much for good job, kind regards from all our singers,
Marina Makarova

Festival di Verona 2012

Mateja Jencic, Zbor Musica Viva Karnj Primskovo

The choir Musica viva started this year’s singing season highly motivated. Together with our conductor Aleš Gorjanc we decided to participate at the International Choir Competition 23° Concorso Internazionale di Canto Corale in Verona.
For that occasion the choir studied four different songs. “Heroes” was a renaissance song from Slovenian composer Jacobus Galus. At the rehearsals it always got us into the right mood. “Bogoroditse devo” was a very peaceful and beautiful Russian song. Sentimental song “Tiha no?” from contemporary Slovenian composer Gašper Jereb was the most challenging. The last one was the heartbreaking Slovenian folk song “Petelin?ek je zapieu”.
In the middle of April it was time for us to show what we could do, or better, how we could sing. Our expectations before the three days journey to Verona and the Choir Competition were high.
The first day we got to hotel in Sirmione, a little town at Lake Garda. We were amazed by the sightseeing, which we admired during the boat tour.
Our choir competition performance took place in Palazzo Gran Guardia in Verona on the next day. Seven members of the jury listened to us. We felt good about our performance. But we didn’t know how did we do compared to other choirs, which came from Italy, Germany, Croatia, Russia, USA, ...
After the choir competition performance we took a walk through the streets of Verona. We enjoyed it despite the rain. There was so much to see: Piazza delle Erbe, Juliet's House, Roman Arena, ...
Next day all the choirs gather together in Teatro Filarmonico for the closing ceremony of the choir competition. Highly anticipated moment finally arrived. We were very happy and proud when we received the silver prize! We had the chance to hear the best choirs again. They sounded really amazing.
At the end of the choir festival an exceptional experience was given to us. All the choirs have joined together in the Roman Arena and sang Va pensiero, Ode to Joy, and Amazing Grace. Just imagine the sound of it!
Our journey to the Festival di Verona was successful. Our goal was accomplished and we all were richer for beautiful memories.
