Budapest / Danube Bend / Esztergom / Szentendre

Enjoy an excursion to the famous Danube Bend followed by a visit to Esztergom.
Transfer to Szentendre for optional lunch.
Orientation tour with your tour manager and free time in Szentendre. Return to Budapest for group dinner.

Kesztely - Lake Balaton / Concert / Farewell Dinner

Transfer to Kesztely, upon arrival enjoy an orientation tour with your tour manager.
Lunch on your own and free time at Lake Balaton.

Highlights and tips

Commonly nicknamed "the Hungarian Sea", Lake Balatón is the second most visited place in Hungary after Budapest. With a 592 km² area, it is the largest lake in central Europe and offers a lot of possible activities for warmer weather.
Every summer, it also hosts various music festivals such as one of the most popular electro festivals in Europe, the Balaton Sound.

The capital of Hungary can be described as a cosmopolitan and elegant city in the heart of Central Europe. Budapest’s remarkable historical past can be seen everywhere: from its impressive art nouveau buildings and magnificent boulevards, to its bath palaces and traditional coffee houses and cafes.
In summer, the city becomes the scene of numerous festivals and offers a very vivid nightlife with its modern cafes and bars along the Danube.

Don't even think about visiting Hungary without trying the traditional goulash!
This national dish can be described as somewhere between a soup and a stew. Traditionally prepared with beef, the key ingredient to a Goulash, the one that gives its rich colour and its hot but somehow sweet taste to the dish, is the sweet paprika powder.
Introduced by the Turks in the 16th Century, this spice has since then become a symbol of the Hungarian kitchen.
